Get AWORG 1.0.0

Run AWORG on your own machine.

AWORG runs on your computer or your server, uses the AI model you choose, and keeps everything it knows in your own home directory. Each download brings its own Python and a browser for your Resident, so there is nothing else to install.

Windows

  1. Download aworg-1.0.0-windows-x64.zip.
  2. Unzip it, open the AWORG folder, and double-click AWORG.cmd.

macOS

Open Terminal and paste the line for your Mac. It downloads AWORG into your home folder and starts it. (Installed this way rather than through a browser, macOS lets it run straight away.)

Apple Silicon (M1 and newer):

curl -L https://github.com/kevinnading/aworg/releases/download/v1.0.0/aworg-1.0.0-macos-arm64.tar.gz | tar xz && ./AWORG/AWORG.command

Intel:

curl -L https://github.com/kevinnading/aworg/releases/download/v1.0.0/aworg-1.0.0-macos-x64.tar.gz | tar xz && ./AWORG/AWORG.command

After that, start it again any time by double-clicking AWORG.command in the AWORG folder.

Linux

curl -L https://github.com/kevinnading/aworg/releases/download/v1.0.0/aworg-1.0.0-linux-x64.tar.gz | tar xz && ./AWORG/aworg.sh

Then

Open the address it prints, sign in with the password it shows you the first time, and connect a model in Settings. You need an API key for a model provider, or a model server running on your own machine.

To update, download the new version over the old one. Your Aworg itself lives in .aworg in your home directory, so nothing is lost.
